Mongolia-Land of Blue Sky
Gobi is characterised by rocky mountains, vast flat land, super arid desert, oases, and sand-dunes. Since the region is hostile to human existence, population in this region is very sparse. There are areas for hundreds of kilometers without trace of human habitat. Since vast areas of the Gobi have no trees, mountains or human habitat, one gets an infinite view until horizons as on the high seas. Ancient fossils clearly indicate that the Gobi desert was once a part of a vast inland sea.
