Changu Narayan Temple

Changu Narayan Temple, dedicated to Vishnu. The temple, destroyed at the beginning of the eighteenth century, dates to the fifth century. Surrounding it are stone sculptures from the Licchavi period (A.D. 400-900), including the oldest Licchavi inscription in the valley, found on the victory pillar erected in A.D.464 by King Manadeva I.
