Patan Durbar Square is one of three Durbar Squares of the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal
Patan Durbar Square includes: Museum, Mul Chowk, Sundari Chowk and Keshav Narayan Chowk.

Garuda, the bird god kneels down in prayer on a pillar facing the Krishna temple inside Patan Durbar Square. Krishna Mandir is the finest stone wrought monument. This temple is made in Sikhara architectural style, a style that is commonly found in what is now known as the Indian Subcontinent. Patan Durbar Square. Patan, the oldest of all the three cities of Kathmandu valley. It is the best known for its artistic heritage. Another name of Patan, is Lalitpur. The city is surrounded by 4Stupas as 4 corners of Patan, one at each corner of its cardinal points. These stupas are said to have been built by the famous Emperor Ashoka. This is one of the most elegant architectural treasures of which Patan is very proud. Patan Durbar Square is full of Hindu temples and Buddhist monuments with bronze gateways, guardian deities and wonderful carvings. The former royal palace complex is the center of Patan's religious and social life and houses a museum containing an array of bronze statues and religious objects. There are three main courtyards or chowks, so named central Mul Chowk, Sundari Chowk and Keshav Narayan Chowk in the square. The Sundari Chowk holds in its center a masterpiece of stone architecture, the Royal bath called Tusahiti. Nepal.

King Yognarendra Malla sits on a pillar in front of the Taleju temple in a folded hand as gesture of offering greetings to the Taleju Bhawani goddess. She was the clan Goddess of the Malla kings, who ruled Nepal from the 12th to the 18th century. Patan Durbar Square. Patan, Nepal.
