The Maoist Government of Nepal including the Defence Minister, Ram Bahadur Thapa (Maoist Party), have demanded the Chief of Army Staff to be sacked based on three counts: 1) For recruiting Nepalese Soldiers. 2) Disagreeing with the requested retirement of the eight Brigadier Generals of the Nepal Army. 3) The withdrawal of the Nepal Army from the recent National Games.
