Nepal Army continues to patrol and provide security against rising unrest in the Kathmandu Valley, despite of several rallies taking place, called by the Unified Communist Party Nepal (UCPN) over the controversial sacking of the Chief of Nepal Army staff, Rookmangud Katawal. The Government is trying to build concensus among political parties to remove Katawal.
