Press statement by Pashupati Shumsher JB Rana, Chairman of the RPP (Rastriya Prajatantra Party), "The country is facing its worst criss in its history, the RPP has repeatdely urged the state to initiate a dialogue with the parliamentary parties. Unless the forces wi8thin the constitution come together a meaningful negotiation with the Maoists to end the insurgency and bring about peace cannot take place. The conflict cannot be won by mere military means. The ultimate solution is to bring the insurgents into the mainstream through a dialogue, in which all the elements of the state the King and parties engage jointly. Unfortunately none of this is happening. Kathmandu, Nepal.
