It is the first chapel inside Kumbum. Buddha Sakyamuni is shown seated in the posture of 'turning the wheel of Dharma'. At his sides his two chief arhat disciples, Shariputra and Maudgalyayana, are gracefully dipicted. Gyantse. Tibet.
